The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, has stated that no action has been taken by the team for drafting the statute for the formation of the association. He said that it is difficult to provide documentation from the previous team, since the activities were not carried out in a transparent manner.
According to the 2013 agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, the Management Team would take responsibility for proposing the draft statute of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities, which will define its organizational structure, goals, decision-making processes and powers.
For the first time in 2016, the Ministry of Local Self-Government Administration of the Government of Kosovo appointed the Management Team. However, currently, very little is known about the composition of this team.
