1, 794. 862 eligible voters, of which 49, 198 voters for the first time, today decide on their representatives in the Assembly and Government. These are early parliamentary elections, where there are 21 political parties, 2 coalitions and 5 civic initiatives in the election race. Whereas, the total number of certified candidates is 1, 052 candidates.
Citizens with the right to vote will be able to vote in 888 polling centers, with 2382 polling stations. Meanwhile, 88 prosecutors will be engaged on election day at the national level, in order to ensure a fair and legal process. The Kosovo Judicial Council has appointed 30 custodial judges for election day. During Election Day, political entities, NGOs and citizens who feel that their rights have been violated may file complaints to the Election Panel within 24 hours of the polling station closing.
