Kosovo Police has made all preparations for the municipal elections that will be held on October 17. The General Director of Kosovo Police, Samedin Mehmeti, in today’s meeting unveiled the operational plan for “Local Elections – 2021”, saying that the purpose of this operational order is to create a calm and safe atmosphere for all citizens.
The plan envisages the implementation of four operational phases, the pre-election period, security during the pre-election campaign, the guarantee of security on election day, as well as the post-election period which foresees the escort during transportation and security of sensitive material until the end of the process.
