On the European Day Against Human Trafficking, state institutions have launched a one-month campaign against this negative phenomenon. Kosovo was said to have made progress over the past two years in reducing cases of human trafficking, but additional commitment was required to prevent the use of the country as a transit route for traffickers. Meanwhile, the EU has requested an improvement regarding the implementation of legislation for victims of crime.
