Anti-Smuggling Units on the Aeroport-Prishtina highway, have managed to identify and stop a suspicious transport vehicle, where smuggled cigarettes worth 12,000.00 euros were found.
“The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina was notified about this case and after the interview, with the Order of the Custodian Prosecutor, the two suspects were arrested and taken into custody. Kosovo Customs in cooperation with the competent authorities will continue the implementation of its duties and responsibilities, with the sole purpose of preventing illegal activities throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo,”it is said in the statement.
