Kosovo will host Group I and E matches, respectively, within the European Volleyball Championship for the U19 women and U22 men. In terms of women’s competition, Kosovo organizes Group I matches, where it participates together with Turkey, Estonia and Hungary, while the matches are played between April 7-11, 2022. Volleyball players born in 2004 or younger compete.
In the men’s competition, Kosovo organizes Group E matches, besides Kosovo, in this group there are also the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Azerbaijan. These matches will take place between 19 and 23 May. Volleyball players born in 2001 or younger compete. Being the host of these two extremely important events for European volleyball, for Kosovo is an achievement, given the great competition of countries to win the right to organize these competitions.
