Kosovar basketball coach Illman Bajra passed away today at the age of 33.
The news was confirmed by one of the former teams that Bajra had managed during his career, BC Prizreni, KosovaPress reports.
“Coach Illmen Bajra passed away a few moments ago at the age of 33. The basketball club Proton Cable Prizren expresses its most sincere condolences to the Bajra family and the entire basketball community”, reads the press release of BC Prizren.
During his career, Bajra worked as an assistant coach at BC Prizreni and BC Prishtina. As a coach, he led BC Bashkimi and BC Rahovec, whereas he was also a coach of the new generations of the Kosovo National Team.
Currently, Bajra was a coach in Germany, where he led the Bad Homburg team for two seasons.
