The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, received today in a meeting the members of the Board of the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals, chaired by Selvete Grajqevci – Pllana. The members of the ICMM Board informed the President of the Assembly about the current activities, the challenges that the mining sector in Kosovo is facing, as well as the plans for the future, it is said in a press release.
It is said that the Speaker of Parliament Konjufca has promised support for the commitments of this board in order to protect the country’s mineral resources and prevent environmental degradation.
