The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said today that the Jashari family has proclaimed the freedom of the people of Kosovo and defended it until their self-sacrifice. In the session of the Assembly, in reference to the glorious Epopee of the KLA, he said that March 5, 6 and 7, 1998 is the turning point when the sacrifice becomes an Epopee.
The head of the Assembly said that the battle of Prekazi and the sacrifice of the Jasharis is an unprecedented event not only in Albanian history.
