The KOC Executive Board has decided that until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it will increase the value of the Olympic scholarships for the 22 KOC scholarship holders.
The increase was made based on the results achieved by the athletes during 2022.
The biggest increase, of 300 euros, was made for the Olympic champions, Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova, the runner-up of Europe 2022, the judoka Laura Fazliu and the bronze medalists at the Mediterranean Games, the judoka Flaka Loxha and the boxer Shpetim Bajoku.
Boxer Donjeta Sadiku, world and European bronze medalist, and judoka Loriana Kuka, gold medalist at MG Oran 2022, will also receive 250 euros more.
The total monthly value of the increase is 2880 euros.
The purpose of awarding Olympic scholarships is to prepare and follow the Olympic norm for Paris 2024.
