The products of many regional businesses and other countries in the world are being exhibited on the three floors of the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
The opening of the largest international business fair “Klik Ekspo Group” took place on Wednesday afternoon.
The fair, which is accompanied by the slogan “One Balkan, stronger Balkans”, will last four days. The Tirana International Fair is being supported by the KosovaPress News Agency.
For the 27th time, many Balkan countries are bringing to Albania a trade manifestation for social revival and economic recovery.
The president of this fair, Luan Muhametaj said that businesses from many countries in the region are represented on the three floors of the Palace of Congresses.
“My gratitude is to all participants, companies, chambers of commerce, our representatives throughout this Balkan area. Highly appreciating Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Italy. So, all participating countries”, he said.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that more products should be produced than legends. According to him, in this way the economy will be strengthened.
“The vision of Prime Minister Edi Rama, in promoting an open Balkans, is not the proposal to agree on everything. But, on those things that we agree on, such as a borderless trade, a borderless movement, recognition of licenses, driver’s licenses, customs documents, recognition of residence. For all these reasons, if there are things that we agree on, let us move forward”, said Veliaj.
The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Enkelejda Muçaj at the opening of this fair said that they have numerous initiatives to facilitate communication in the region.
“This ministry is trying hard to create on the ground, in infrastructure, and precisely through air and ground corridors, what is actually doing the infrastructure of the future, which in itself should have a connection with international and regional partners… We have a plan for the port development in Durrës exactly with the port of goods, and in Vlora, and also accompanied by the air ports”, she said.
Also, according to the president of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania, Ines Muçostepa, this fair is the most important in the Balkans.
For the first time, the six Western Balkan countries are participating in the 27th Business Fair. Also, official institutions, business organizations, chambers of commerce, economics and industry as well as non-governmental organizations. The “Klik Ekspo Group” business fair will be open until December 4.
