Organizations that emerged from the KLA war have not yet been officially informed about the marking of the 27th anniversary of the Epopee. Xhavit Jashari from the Association of Martyrs’ Families stated that they have not decided whether to send representatives to the State Council for the Marking of the KLA Epopee, a council established today by the Government of Kosovo.
The Government has established the State Council for the Marking of the 27th Anniversary of the Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which will be chaired by the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci.
Jashari said that so far they have not been contacted by the institutions.
“No one has contacted us officially so far and if they contact us or make a request to be part of this manifestation, the three organizations will sit down together and take a stance or a decision”, said Jashari.
He added that they have no cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, after the resignation of former minister, Armend Mehaj.
