The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEC) is not implementing a decision of the Constitutional Court for over five months now, to pay 3.3 million euros to its 1,300 workers.
KEC workers expect to receive an average of 3 thousand 500 euros each for the work performed during the weekends, for which they were not paid before.
The case received a final legal epilogue at the end of September 2022, based on a decision of the Constitutional Court.
This amount of 3.3 million euros, KEC is obliged to pay to the workers as compensation for working days during weekends, for the period 2011 to 2018.
The workers are continuing to demand from KEC the realization of their rights for compensation.
