KDI condemns the use of inappropriate language and non-parliamentary behavior

KDI has condemned the language used and the behavior in the parliamentary committee for Environment, Food, Agriculture, Planning and Development where the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Faton Peci, was reporting on Tuesday.

In response, it is stated that “KDI, condemns any behavior, language or non-parliamentary behavior of the MPs, as a form of resolving political disagreements. We remind the MPs, in this case the ministers, that the Assembly should serve as a platform for substantive discussions between political parties, regardless of the party to which they belong, by giving up non-parliamentary language and political clashes. Considering the frequent use of inappropriate language and non-parliamentary behavior by the MPs in the Assembly, KDI has consistently requested that the process of drafting the Code of Ethics begin, which should include disciplinary sanctions against the MPs who hinder the progress of the work and those who use non-parliamentary language or behavior ”.
