Attracting foreign investment remains an important factor in having a more rapid economic development. Kosovo and the Western Balkans remain the main destinations for strategic foreign investment in the last ten years. This is what was said today during the presentation of the study “Becoming stronger after COVID-19: Exploiting the Potential of Geographical Proximity for Foreign Direct Investment in the Western Balkans”, by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce.
According to the report, the Western Balkans has the potential to attract foreign investment, but some conditions are required to be met, such as political stability, fiscal policy reforms and the qualification of the workforce.
