The Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, confirmed that he has given his consent to the lifting of the arrest warrant against Milan Radojicic. He refused to give details, on the grounds that they cannot be made public because of the investigations. However, Isufaj emphasized that the arrest warrant was withdrawn for a while, but then returned.
At the press conference where he presented this year’s data, Isufaj stated that at the request of the Special Prosecutor’s Office, an arrest warrant was issued for Milan Radojicic.
Isufaj also commented on the statements of the former special prosecutor, Sylë Hoxha, where he said that there are people who have spoken to him to withdraw the arrest warrant against Radojicic.
He was also asked about the Prime Minister’s criticism that the prosecution should file indictments for the attack in Banjska of Zveçan.
The chief prosecutor of the Special Prosecution, Blerim Isufaj, said that during this year they were faced with cases of different profiles, where the suspects were high state officials. Also, he emphasized that there were also different types of criminality.
Of these cases, Isufaj added that there are 59 percent incriminating decisions in reports with acquittals. The cases handled this year, he added, are of a more serious nature and the damage caused by acts and threats from criminal acts
