Former European Union Representative for Kosovo, Wolfgang Ischinger, also former German Ambassador to the United States, congratulated Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the clear language towards official Belgrade for the recognition of Kosovo’s independence.
Ischinger said that it would be good for Kosovo to be recognized by the five countries of the European Union that so far have not done so.
“Bravo Olaf Scholz: Clear language for Belgrade on the topic of recognition of Kosovo by Serbia! However, it would be more useful if all EU members recognize Kosovo first: there is still a lot to do!”, he said…
