The Directorate for International Police Cooperation (ILECU) is preparing an international arrest warrant against the former head of the Kosovo police operation for the northern region, Zhelko Bojiq, according to reliable sources of KosovaPress.
According to these sources, he is suspected of the criminal offenses of ‘abuse of official duty’ and ‘obstructing evidence or official procedure’.
Otherwise, Zhelko Bojiq held the rank of lieutenant in the police and his position was chief of operations, but he was known as the “father” of the police in the entire northern region and was a close friend of Millan Radojicic, with whom he had strong ties.
At the same time, Bojiq is on the list of those sanctioned by the USA, whereas according to the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo, he is connected with the murder of the politician, Oliver Ivanovic. /KosovaPress/
