The Ambassador of the United States of America, Jeff Hovenier, recalled the day when the United States officially recognized the state of Kosovo.
Hovenier wrote on Twitter that they are proud of their support but also inspired by the democracy that the people of Kosovo have achieved.
“OnThisDay in 2008, the United States formally recognized Kosovo. 15 years later, we are proud of our support and inspired by the vibrant, flourishing democracy the people of Kosovo have achieved”, he wrote.
