The Mayor of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri, says that last week there has been a drastic increase in the COVID-19 infection in this municipality.
“Today we have 247 active cases and this is a drastic increase in COVID-19 infection in the last week. We have tripled the number of home visits of patients affected by the virus. So, there are up to 50 home visits that the Family Medicine Center teams make. Meanwhile, there are 47 patients confirmed with COVID-19, who are being treated in the General Hospital, 6 of whom are in more serious condition”, said Haziri, after the meeting of the Committee for the management and prevention of the spread of COVID- 19.
