The former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Haxhi Shala, was detained by the Special Court and was transferred to The Hague this morning.
Xhevdet Smakiqi, Haxhi Shala’s lawyer, informed KosovaPress that this morning there was also a raid on their client’s house by EULEX.
He emphasized that throughout the entire time Shala was not allowed the presence of the defense and this, according to him, is an arbitration violation.
“This morning communication with Shala was cut off, he was transferred to the Special Court in The Hague”, said Smakiqi.
Otherwise, this year Special Court has carried out raids in Kosovo, some of them in the properties of Thaçi’s former advisers.
