The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET), Rozeta Hajdari held a press conference on the occasion of the signing ceremony of the agreements for the product certification grant scheme and the Digital Empowerment Initiative grant scheme.
Hajdari emphasized that through the product certification scheme, 6 enterprises have benefited, with which they signed an agreement today. She added that in the second phase they plan to support 20 more enterprises.
Minister Rozeta Hajdari said that within the Digital Empowerment Initiative project, this ministry through the KIESA agency, and the cooperation with the Austrian Development Agency and cooperation have benefited 33 enterprises for digital services. While emphasizing that soon they plan to support 70 more enterprises.
Among other things, Hajdari said that the 2030 industrial policy aims to structurally transform the local industry into a more globally integrated industry, which according to her is able to produce products with high added value and provide decent employment for the youth in our country.
Meanwhile, the Austria deputy head of mission in Kosovo, Clarissa Castek, said that this signing ceremony symbolizes an advancement in the joint commitment to promote comprehensive economic growth and the digital transformation of the private sector of Kosovo.
She said that for many years, the Republic of Austria, through the Austrian Development Agency, has been a partner of the private sector of Kosovo, devoting itself to strengthening businesses, promoting innovation and creating paths for sustainable growth.
Castek said that they are convinced that the digital economy of Kosovo will continue to grow, evolve and enrich the experiences of individuals and collective society. /Z. Zeneli/
