The Kosovo Correctional Service notifies the public opinion that from January 25, 2021, it will start allowing weekends for convicts. As a mitigating measure, KCS will continue to allow weekends for convicts who meet the conditions. A limited number of convicts will initially be allowed.
After returning from vacation, all prisoners will be subject to the quarantine phase for a period of at least 7 days. The Kosovo Correctional Service will continue the institutional coordination with the relevant institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and will keep the public informed about the next steps.
