The former Minister of Economy and Mines for the period 2008-2011, Justina Pula-Shiroka, has stated that during her leadership she had no powers at all regarding the purchase of electricity. She even stated that she was also against the privatization of KEK’s energy network distribution assets.
She made these comments while reporting to the Parliamentary Investigative Committee regarding the decision-making process in the energy sector for the period 2006-2022, at the legislative, executive, regulatory, and public enterprise levels.
