Malë Gashi, acting commander of the Fire Brigade in the Municipality of Pristina, has provided new details about the fire in several premises in Pristina.
Gashi said that at the market, six stores that sell various products such as fruits and vegetables, a coffee shop and an electronic store caught fire today.
According to him, the teams reacted quickly by extinguished the fire and not letting it to spread.
Gashi added that no people were injured but that there are great material damages.
“According to the information we have, no injuries have been reported, the damage appears to be extensive, but the assessment inspectors are being assigned to do an assessment…there are still no conditions to investigate why the fire started,” he said.
One of the owners whose shop was burned down, Rexhep Avziu, owner of the café, said that the damage caused by the fire is approximately 15 thousand euros.
