“The national team of Kosovo was defeated with a tight result, where the scoreboard at the end of the match showed 73:72 (22:19, 24:20, 16:15, 10:19) in favor of the Irish, KosovaPress reports.
This match was valid for places 17 to 22, respectively, the second round of the group stage, while Kosovo will also play a match for the final ranking.
The first half ended 46:39 in favor of Kosovo, but a furious comeback by the Irish in the second half made the game end with a score of 73:72 in their favor.
In Kosovo, Bardh Istrefi stood out with 27 points and seven rebounds and Olsi Kurtaj with 12 points and nine rebounds.
