KosovaPress reports that the surrendering of the equipment of about 300 policemen of the northern station in Mitrovica will take place throughout the day today, with different schedules.
It is learned that about 150 other policemen who have served in other northern municipalities of Kosovo will also surrender their equipment today, but in the stations of these municipalities.
On Saturday, the representatives of the Serbs resigned from the local municipalities in the north of Kosovo, from the judiciary, the police as well as from the Government and Assembly of Kosovo, after the suspension of the director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Nenad Djuric.
We remind you that the suspension of the latter came after he refused to implement the decisions of the Government of Kosovo regarding license plates.
