After the presentation of the last package by the Government of Kosovo, of 150 million euros, to cope with inflation, Mr. Nehat Devolli reacted with a proposal for an economic package that could serve as an idea for future packages.
Mr. Devolli explained that “this economic package should be oriented towards grants for active businesses and startups in Kosovo in order to boost our economy”.
He further continued that “the grant would be activated according to the 3×33% principle, where 33% must be capital from the business, 33% loan from the Bank and 33% funds from the grant”.
According to Mr.Devolli, with this economic package scheme of 150 million euros in grants, about 450 million euros would be released in the Kosovo market through various businesses, which would directly affect economic growth and creation of thousands of new jobs.
“In a medium-term period the grant funds would be collected indirectly again through the taxes that these businesses would generate”, concluded Mr. Devolli.
