The deputy director of the Kosova Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, stated that there is no reason for the Iber Bridge to remain closed. In the meeting with citizens of North Mitrovica in the municipality facility, he said that there is no reason in terms of security for the bridge not to open.
He added that based on the practical construction of the road, “they do not understand the reason why the Iber Bridge should continue to remain closed”.
