In terms of securuty, Kosovo Police say that the situation is calm and stable, while referring to the holding of elections in Serbia and the organization of citizens to travel in various forms to Serbia to vote, at several border points that connect the Republic of Kosovo with In Serbia, columns and queuea have been created.
According to the Police, the waiting was caused at the exit from Kosovo to Serbia at the two border crossings Jarinje and Brnjak, as a result of increased traffic at these two border crossings and slow work by the Serbian authorities, as well as the application of sticker procedures.
“Kosovo Police in this field has foreseen the measures and actions of the Kosovo Police in order to maintain the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo, guarantee general security, and increase the capacity of police personnel at border crossings in order to enable free movement. Kosovo Police is committed to performing its duties and powers in accordance with legal and constitutional powers, guaranteeing free movement and general security in the country,” it said in the statement.
