The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MEST), Arbërie Nagavci has stated that health experts have recommended that schools should be the last to be closed. She said the situation will be managed from school to school, but there will be no block decision for all schools. She made these comments for KosovaPress after the meeting of the Committee for coordination and assessment of the epidemiological situation which recommended new anti-COVID measures.
She further stated that today the task force of this ministry will meet to discuss the situation created and tomorrow there will be a meeting with the municipal directorates of education. The Minister of Education said that in Kosovo currently due to the number of students infected with COVID-19, eight schools have switched to online learning.
