Donjeta Sadiku has written the history of Kosovar boxing for women after securing the bronze medal at the World Boxing Championship in Turkey. Sadiku reached the semifinals of this tournament winning three fights and then was defeated by American boxer Shakiyla Rashida Ellis.
Her success was highly praised by the leaders of sports institutions in the country, calling it one of the greatest successes of Kosovar boxing since the 70s and 80s.
Now, Donjeta Sadiku, as KosovaPress learns, will return to Kosovo on Saturday evening, around 23:00, while on Sunday there will be a reception organized by the Kosovo Olympic Committee for her.
The reception will take place in the hall “October 1”, starting at 12:00, where representatives of the Kosovo Olympic Committee and those of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will participate in the event. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is also invited to this reception.
