Documenting war crimes, Kurti shows the danger that is threatening the country

The first official meeting of the Institute for research and documentation of crimes committed during the war in Kosovo was held. It was said that its primary goal will be the confrontation with the past and the verification, documentation, archiving, and research of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that peace requires justice and rehabilitation. According to him, neither has yet happened in Kosovo and the victims of the war deserve both.

On the other hand, the director of the Institute for research and documentation of crimes committed during the war in Kosovo, Atdhe Hetemi, showed the main objectives for addressing the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.

He said that he has also reached an agreement with the State Archives Agency for deepening cooperation and for digital archiving.

However, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that it will be difficult to document the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo, since, according to him, people are tired, the victims have lost faith in the system and that generations are dying every day, and thus the primary memory of the war is being lost.

After the main speeches, this meeting continued closed to the media, where the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, the Minister of Culture, Hajrulla Çeku, and other representatives were also present.
