Two of the main topics of Kosovo’s foreign policy, the dialogue with Serbia and visa liberalization, are not finding a place in the election campaign of political parties. Although two governments were overthrown in the last three years due to the dialogue, the political parties have not yet shown a clear articulation on this topic. They even mention it a little during meetings with citizens. The political experts consider that the reason for this is that these topics do not bring votes.
Violeta Haxholli researcher at the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), urges political parties and candidates for prime minister to present a clear program for dialogue with Serbia.
