The pipeline debate has dominated the country’s political scene in recent weeks. The Kosovo government said it needed more information on the project, which it says concerns the construction of the pipeline infrastructure, while the opposition objected, saying that Kosovo rejected the Millennium Challenge Corporation project to invest in the US pipeline in Kosovo.
In Monday’s session of the Assembly of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti, speaking about the construction of infrastructure in Kosovo for American pipeline, said that such decisions that define the energy sector for future generations need care and analysis of all circumstances. According to him, about 10 meetings and workshops were held with the American MCC to see the modalities for the implementation of the project.
