The total harmonized index of consumer prices is higher at an average of 0.5% in January 2021 compared to December 2020, this was announced by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS).
In the report of the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) for January 2021, it is stated that this is explained by the increase in consumer prices in the COICOP subgroups: bread and cereals (0.7%), fruits (0.9%), vegetables (6.1%), alcoholic beverages (1.7%), tobacco (0.8%), use of personal transport means (3.7%) “Increase of oil and gasoline prices”, with a joint impact of these subgroups of 0.8 percent on the HICP.
