Regarding the reports that some of the candidates for mayors have made some mistakes in submitting the application documents to participate in the elections and that they have been asked to correct them, the CEC says that this is a normal process.
CEC spokesman, Valmir Elezi, said that this is an opportunity provided by the Law on General Elections and the Law on Local Elections for political entities to submit improvements or corrections within the deadline set by the Office for Registration and Certification of Political Parties.
