CEC receives servers and equipment as a donation from Germany

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has received servers and accompanying equipment for the Counting and Results Center as a donation from Germany.

During this ceremony, a call was made for a peaceful electoral process and participation by all citizens with the right to vote in the February 9 election process.

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi, emphasized that this support from the German state will affect the improvement of the infrastructure and the advancement of electoral standards in Kosovo.

According to him, this donation is a major investment in the integrity of the electoral process and in the trust of citizens in the electoral process.

“The receipt of these modern servers marks further development of the CEC infrastructure, and is a continuation of the process of digitalization of electoral operations….This support is very valuable, and will help improve our infrastructure and advance electoral standards in Kosovo. Also, considering the role of the CEC, this donation is a major investment in the integrity of the electoral process, and in the trust of citizens in the electoral process. The Central Election Commission remains committed to continuing with the necessary improvements in order to achieve a more advanced electoral administration. This donation is an investment in our democratic future, and in the trust of citizens in the electoral process”, emphasized the CEC Chairman.
