The Central Election Commission has announced that 32.32 percent of Kosovo citizens have exercised their right to vote until 15:00. Meanwhile, it was stressed that there can be no organization of voting in northern Mitrovica, as the figures are similar to 2019. The chairwoman of the CEC, Valdete Daka, in the third press conference said that until now there is nothing that damages the electoral integrity.
“Also, based on the data we have received from the Voting Centers, the number of citizens with the right to vote who have voted until 15:00 is 32.32% or 567, 934 voters out of 1, 794. 862 voters. Until the same time, in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo in 2019, 29.28% of voters had voted or 554, 750 out of 1, 937. 868”, she said. Regarding the irregularities in the northern part of Kosovo, Daka said that they have that information and have called the police and the prosecution to deal with this issue. Meanwhile, regarding the decision to allow citizens to vote with expired ID cards, Daka said that citizens’ complaints have been taken ino consideration.
