The Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo reiterated again the request for reduction of the interest rate, by sending a letter to the Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti.
Interest rate must be reduced to at least 1.7% and there must be pressure on commercial banks to reduce bank interest rates, lend to new businesses and increase lending to businesses are an urgent need of businesses, given the lack of state support in the last 5 months regarding the cover operating expenses, including salaries, taxes, investments, etc.
