The Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo is considering that the large discrepancy between salaries in the public sector and the private sector is deepening day by day, and is presenting an even greater inequality for employees in these sectors.
CDBK based on data published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) for 2020, states that the average gross salary in Kosovo for 2020 was € 466, while the average gross salary in the private sector for 2020 was € 380 , the average gross salary in the public sector was € 624, while in public enterprises the average gross salary was € 769.
