There is still no exact date for the opening of EU negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia. For this, the Albanian state should meet some conditions before holding the first intergovernmental conference.

The acting minister of Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, says that before opening the negotiations, Albania must complete the electoral reform.
