The discussion regarding the decision of the Municipality of Prishtina, in which case the televisions and radios are forced from this pandemic year to pay additional municipal tax of 1000 euros per year, a tax which was considered very high for these businesses, was the main purpose of the meeting, which was held between the CDBK representatives and the media sector.
During this meeting, they talked about the challenges that the media sector is currently facing, in which case it was stressed that the burden of such a new tax is unacceptable, especially when the media industry pays different types of taxes.
