The former prime minister of Great Britain, Tony Blair, was honored with the “Key to the City” and was declared an honorary citizen by the Municipal Assembly of the capital.
In his speech to the assemblypersons, Blair said that the best way to honor the past is by addressing the future.
The mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, said that thanks to the dedication of the former British prime minister and NATO allies, the terror of the Serbian occupying forces in Kosovo was stopped.
The chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Prishtina, Fehmi Kupina, also expressed his gratitude to Blair.
