The general secretary of the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOC), Besim Aliti, has been elected a member of the coordinating committee for the Mediterranean Games, Taranto 2026.
The Executive Committee of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG) has formed the new commissions for the period 2024-26, where Aliti will also be part of them, KosovaPress reports.
Aliti was previously the chairman of the evaluation and coordination committee for the 2027 Mediterranean Sand Games, as well as a member of the sports program committee for the Mediterranean Games.
