The professor at New York University, Alon Ben Meir, in an interview for KosovaPress, said that the Association of Serbian Municipalities with executive powers is to the detriment of Kosovo, so he suggests Kurti to resist and not accept it. He also says that Serbia should follow the example of Germany and admit crimes against humanity, as Serbia’s genocide in Kosovo is undeniable. In this line, Ben Meir says that just as Vucic placed the plaque with the name of Ratko Mladic on a street in Belgrade he should remove it.
Professor Ben Meir stated that within the territory of Kosovo there can be no Association of Municipalities with executive power, as this would allow Serbia to have executive power over these municipalities.
