The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, declared today that a fair, impartial election process based entirely on the constitution and the law is an essential obligation for the country. Begaj emphasized that the organization of local, fair, free elections and the fulfillment of the will of the citizens are an inseparable part of Albania’s European aspiration.
Begaj, during the meeting with representatives of the institutions and structures engaged in the organization, administration and evaluation of the election process, representatives of the diplomatic corps and OSCE-ODIHR stated that the democratic processes in Albania have been built and strengthened with the contribution of every fellow citizen engaged in abroad.
