The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has said that Kosovo’s membership in the Adriatic Charter is essential for the stability of the entire region.
Begaj, at the 27th conference of the Chiefs of General Staff of the US-Adriatic Charter Initiative on Wednesday, said that Kosovo, although a new state, has shown commitment to peace and cooperation, therefore it is a contributing factor to security in the Western Balkans.

The Adriatic Charter is an association formed by Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia, and the United States in 2003 to assist in their efforts to join NATO. Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro also joined this association in 2008. /KosovaPress/
