Although the Krena, Erenik and Llukas rivers that pass through the municipality of Gjakova have reached critical points due to heavy rainfall, the situation is stable and under control. Up till now, five families have been evacuated in this municipality, whereas five rivers have flooded several roads and bridges.
The leader of the security and emergency sector within the Directorate for Protection and Rescue in Gjakova, Besim Meqa said that the condition of the rivers that pass through this municipality is more stable.
