Banka Ekonomike opened its newest branch in Leposavic on Thursday, marking another special moment and further expanding its network throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that it is a good day for the citizens of Leposavic, for the economy and the state of Kosovo in general. According to him, now is is possible for everything to be done legally and transparently in accordance with the law and the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
“It is a good day for the citizens of Leposavic, for the residents who live and work here, and for our state, for the economy of our country, because the branch of the Banka ekonomike opened today, which will enable payments, transfers, as well as lending, and in this way all services will be accessible to citizens and businesses, so that families and entrepreneurship benefit… In this way, it is possible for everything to be done legally and transparently in accordance with the law, constitutionality and the rules of doing business, finance and banking in our Republic”, said Kurti.
Meanwhile, Shpend Luzha, CEO of Banka Ekonomike, expressed his satisfaction, congratulating the citizens of this area for creating the opportunity for easier access to finance. He thanked the country’s institutions for their support, without whose help he said such a success would be impossible.
